For the past 15 years, our team has conducted a Holiday Toy Drive during the month of November to assist families in need in our community.

     12 years ago, we were honored to be joined by the Urban League of Hampton Roads Young Professionals. This is a huge service for many families that otherwise would not have a holiday season. Some of the recipients of the drive have been the families of: battered women, servicemen and servicewomen, and families affected by homelessness.

     In the month of December, we hold a Holiday Party where the families are honored as special guests. At the event, the families receive their gifts and are treated to dinner, along with games, music, activities and a special visitor from the North Pole. This is a huge event for families and volunteers. To date, we have served over 400 families and 5000 people.

This year’s event will be held on

Tuesday, December 5, 

 at Virginia Beach Convention center,

Virginia Beach, VA., from 6 pm until 9 pm.

​

The Holiday Toy Drive collection is from November 1 – November 30, 2023.

 

We are looking for organizations and individuals to assist with collection and/or volunteering. We believe in our mission. We have families that are in need this holiday season, many of them homeless. We want to be able to give them some joy this year. We want to be able to give them: "One Night of Peace".
